Effects of covid on children

I'd be interested in hearing how covid has affected your children and if they are showing any signs of long term problems as a result.

Two of mine have had it. No long term effects as far as I can see and it’s been 18 months since they had it.

My teenage son hasn’t been well for over a year since he got it badly last August. A persistent cough that comes and goes lasting a week at a time. Headaches and he has a high thyroid level. Doctor has now confirmed they think he has Long Covid after a year of seeing them. He missed so much school and had to give up his sport he loved.
