I'm talking before the big stuff that hits the fan, just the day to day to day to day stuff in a family home. Meeting everyone's needs and making it all work.

Yes very true. I'm trying to teach myself to not worry about the things out of my control. Day to day stuff can really be a lot but this year - particularly since my birthday some months ago I'm proactively trying to make space and time for myself. It's done wonders for my mental health.

Yeah. Single parent ... can feel utterly impossible not to drown under it all.
