I have always been interested in the 'What If's' of history (such as Franz Ferdinand and WWI), or timelines in general for all of us. It seems to be more of a time for it than ever with the events of the last view years.
So, if Pincher hadn't gone to that club** back in June, would Boris still be our Prime Minister for the passing of the Queen? Or if No 10 had handled it better?
I was struck by May commenting in PMQ about female leaders in the Tory party - but then that is only following everything since Brexit. What if Cameron had called Brexit in different circumstances? He might still be Prime Minister. I remember people talking years ago about what if Gordon Brown had called a general election earlier.
Again, it was seeing the six former Prime Ministers on television today and all the decisions and what ifs they represent as we've been looking at past events over the years.
