Did you move away from London recently?

Where did you move to, why, and are you happy you made the move?

I'm desperate to leave London, where im currently renting, and looking at potential locations. I'm into cycling and hiking - cycling friendly cities/regions are a priority.

We’ve got a house in the Pyrenees, but have kept our home in London too. It’s near the Tourmalet, and so is wonderful for cycling, liking and so on.

Moved to west Surrey (Waverley borough) - stunning rolling countryside on our doorstep for miles (can walk to Winchester) but 45 mins to Waterloo. Love it! There’s every amenity I can possibly think of within an hour of us, most much closer but takes an hour to get to the coast.

And there are a lot of cyclists around here that’s for sure.

I'd love to move out of London but short of winning the lottery or marrying a rich man I'm stuck here 😥

Isn't the Waterloo line horrendously busy and always delayed/cancelled? I used to live in Raynes Park and commuted via Waterloo and it was hellish.
