Gift suggestion for a child who's parents you hate

I've just been to the toy shop with my 4yo to get him something small as a reward for his first week of school.

We've ended up with some dinosaur smasher eggs - I can't express in words how frustrating and awful they are! So fiddly that each one takes me about 10 nightmarish minutes to re build (with the help of an egg cup, absolutely impossible without) and then takes my son 3 seconds to re smash.

If you're looking for a gift that will ruin the day of the recipients, look no further.

I was gifted a baby shark microphone by someone who presumably hates me...

My sister gifted me a horrendous noisy electric toy before she had her children.

It was a musical fire engine. I was so happy when I got to re-gift it to her ten years later. Yes I held onto it just for that!

toy drills, my son has a noisy one and will quite happily keep his finger on the trigger for 5 minutes at a time 😅

Penguin race. Kids love it, adults end up wibbling in a corner.

Moon sand is still the top of the list I think.

They're along the lines of the dinosaur in plaster of paris that you had to carefully (and messily) chip out with a brush and teeny chisel.

My DS also had an Mummy that had a plastic doll base and clay that was rolled out , cut into strips and draped over like bandages .

Ultimate present to cause mayhem is SeaMonkeys or Triopts .
Especially the Triopts Hmm

I am SO getting that Penguin Race game for dd's boyfriend for Christmas! We usually get him something totally ridiculous and impractical, and that fits the bill perfectly. 😂
