Contraception to help with PMS

anyone experienced the Yaz combined pill and if so has it helped !?

also anyone tried the estrogen patch !?

i have had mirena coil for last 7 years on and off and I think it made me PMS , rage, mood swings worse !

i know SSRI’s are supposed to help but I have never tried.

I really would love to know peoples experiences with Yaz combined pill and if it has helped them with hormonal fluctuating mood swings.

i suffer with 2 weeks a month of irritability, rage, mood swings and anxiety and sensitivity . I did have the mirena coil and think it made it worse.

I now wish to change my contraception and thinking about the Yaz pill or the estrogen patch.

what are peoples experiences please ? I do not wish to go back on mirena coil. I was going to take SSRI in past but thought I would try exercise and diet instead but didn’t work !

Oestrogen containing pills make my PMS much worse, the only pill that’s ever worked for me is the progesterone only one.

Interesting ! Which one did you try and which one are you on now ? Was your PMS the same as mine ?
