I have been qualified 4 years, and in that time worked in 3 posts (one on the vaccinating program banking). 2 different health boards and 2 different areas.
I was diagnosed with coeliac in 2020 and since then, had a number of difficulties in regards to symptoms it comes with. One of them is cognitively difficulties. I am struggling to keep up and do not think I can anymore. I have dcs, who need me. They have struggled with different things since the pandemic. I'm a single mum with no support so the financial side has kept me nursing. However, I'm currently working in children's mental health. With this and trying to manage my youngest dc going back to school and my middle dc, struggling with the transition of leaving school and college/work. It's taking its toll on myself.
Last year I had a number of issues which led to my health deteriorating. My cognitive abilities are sometimes challenging.
I'm thinking I need a less pressured job.
Any ideas? Not within health care.
I honestly think retail or a cafe would be free from stress. Somewhere like that where I don't have to 'think' too much. Its just the financial side of it.

Retail is definitely not free from stress!

Worst bit of Healthcare is the random unreasonableness of the general public.

Retail is all about the general public.

What transferable skills do you have? What do you enjoy?

Office work might be lower stress, depending on the office. You could join a temp agency and try out some different things, see what you like.
