Sorry for another thread on this subject but could people in the know please come and talk about constitutional protocol following the death of a monarch please?
I dont mean Operation Unicorn or London Bridge, more like titles bring passed on, Counsellors of State, the way in which changes are made, how public sector organisations "mourn" etc.
I've noted councils turning their websites black and launching dedicated web pages giving details of books of condolence etc.
Additionally William and Kate are now of Cornwall and Cambridge given that Charles and Camilla are King and Queen Consort.
There are some fantastically knowledgeable people on here about this stuff and I'd like to understand a bit more about this side of things.
Our wonderful Queen really did serve us well. Everything feels a bit uncertain with her gone.
