Yes, new coins will be minted with Charles on. But money with the Queen's head will still be legal tender.

Yes I think they have to wait until Charles has had his coronation until he can appear on the notes and coins and stamps

the phase out will happen slowly - only newly minted coins and notes will have Charles on. Queen's face will be around for years yet.
