Red and sore around anus

Keep getting red and sore around my anus looks and feels like nappy rash
Happening quite regularly
I am going through the menpause too
What could it be

Obviously keep yourself clean, and I'd try am emollient cream for a few days.

Could it be thrush?
Try Canestan and if it works it's thrush

How are your guts? Wind? Loose? Food allergies heightened by menopause? Covid?

Maybe try cleaning with water after going no 2 and then using some Vaseline.

Threadworms? Any young kids in your life? V.v easily treated btw, ask your chemist and treat the whole family. Don’t share towels and wash them and sheets hot at least twice. Wear knickers to bed.

Thanks guys have been using canesten it usually goes away after a few days was going to try anusol to see if that helps

But of hydrocortisone cream should sort you out if it isn't thrush.
