Made my dad cry ...why do I feel so guilty?

Me and my partner have two kittens.
We went away for 4 days and my dad looked after them at his house.
Just went to collect them and he was crying saying goodbye (well trying not too )
I've told him when we are working (2 days on opens ) I will bring them to his house and also in 8 weeks when we are on holiday.
I just feel so guilty
My dad and me are extremely soft hearted and I'm crying now thinking of my dad upset.
My dad has a 1 year old dog so he has company.

He will get over it. He had them for 4 days not 4 weeks.

Why is he crying over kittens?

I think he's enjoyed having them stay over and he loves animals

Awww 😢I’d be sad too OP. He would probably find it too much if he had them all the time though. DM eighty odd has my DDog and she loves him, but all the time would be too much.

Just get him a kitten of his own? What are you feeling guilty about? Do you think you should give him your pets just because he’s had them for a few days?! Blimey, it must be exhausting for both of you blubbing the whole time over next to nothing!
