New bath/room - need advice please .

Hello we have had a new bathroom installed. Due to house style have gone for a cast iron freestanding enamel bath ( bisley jig )
I'm a bit scared to clean it for the first time without knowing the best product to use as not to damage it (it was £1400 so don't want to fuck it up ! )f
What product do you use to clean it please ?
Also we have traditional style ceramic tiles - What will be the best bathmat to get as don't want to climb out of it and fall flat on bum !

I use home made vinegar/wash up liquid spray for my bath. We have hotel style thick cotton towelling bath mats from Soak and Sleep - throw in for washing every day or two, but they're easy to wash and dry.
