Suddenly I can't clear my voicemail notifications, can you help?

I can delete the voicemail after hearing it, but the notification stays on my phone which is annoying. It's an old Samsung S6.

Neither can I samsung galaxy s10. Maybe it's a glitch

Sorted it - at least for the time being. Go to settings, Apps, Show system apps, scroll down to see the phone icon, (I had 3) 😬In the first phone icon I clicked 'Force stop' and that cleared it! Hope this helps someone else.

I don't have show system apps. I tried force stopping the phone app but it didn't do anything.

Have you tried turning it off and then again?

@Notanotherwindow Go to settings, go to apps & then press the 3 dots in the top right hand corner. System apps will be one of the choices in the drop-down menu.

I thought I was sorted but I now find I've had another false voicemail notification. I suspect it might be a Samsung bug to make me buy a newer phone. Hmm
