In Stoke on Saturday late afternoon and it's a 3 year olds birthday. Also got a 6 year old. Not from the area.
Anyone recommend something fun?
We will be in the Fenton area but happy to go anywhere reasonably easy to get to.

Trentham monkey forest is a great afternoon!

Trentham Gardens is great if the weather is nice.
If you’re wanting a soft play then Just Kidding in Hanley or Come into Play in Stone are our favourites.

So nice to read something positive about the Stoke area for a change.

It might be a bit further than you want but Castaway Play in Congleton is great!

There is also a Geek Retreat in Hanley that do kids Pokémon sessions on a Saturday and have family board games to play :) not sure how good it is as I'm not local anymore!

I'd go down to Trentham Gardens, easily accessible from Fenton and you have the choice of the gardens which has a children's play area, several places to eat or Monkey Forest.

Thanks all. Stuff to investigate.

Just to update.
We arrived too late to do much
We actually stayed at the Premier Inn in Trentham. We just had dinner at frankie and bennys that evening. Far too expensive for me to do the gardens and Monkey Forest unfortunately. It looked great. We went to Fenton and I entertained the kids with swimming at the leisure centre and later the highlight!!
I googled 'playground near me' we ended up at an AMAZING park. Hanley Park. Gorgeous paths lined with trees, and 4 fantastic and quite unusual playgrounds.
Definitely happy to find that. And it was a lovely warm day!!

I didn’t recommend Hanley Park because although it does have a great playground it does have a reputation for being quite rough

Didn't realise but it was absolutely fine, the children are young and not free-roaming. The families there were friendly and nice. I didn't see any groups of older kids/teens at all. We had a great time. Lucky locals having it on their doorstep.
