I appreciate there will be regional differences - North prices preferred if poss! - but I'm looking for a ballpark figure. If I phone up and they go "£50 an hour" I'll just be very embarrassed and have to say no thanks.

I last checked in 2019, pre-Covid, they were £25 an hour but instructors around here were insisting on 2 hour lessons only. I expect now it's gone up but I've no idea by how much.

West London, DD was paying £50 for 2 hours in 2019. After covid and moving only 20 mins away to Sunbury, restarted lessons end of 2021 and paid £53 for 90 minutes. He was great though and she passed her test first time in August 😁

She also worked, so paid for the lessons herself. My DH and I could not have afforded them for her!

I pay £30 an hour (you can get cheaper) for DS but we're in North Yorkshire.

£35 per hour here on average with a discount for bundles. That’s rural East Mids. It’s the fuel prices that have driven it up.
