I think my thread title says it all: I'm doubly annoyed because we tend to use cotton hankies, rather than tissues, so there's a sinister rogue element to this.

The tissue thing is very annoying! I can’t seem to think of a worser one tbh

Pepper grinder/shaker breaking when you're cooking ruining whatever you were cooking.
Usually happens towards the end when your balancing the flavours so a whole meal goes to waste

DH and his never emptying his pockets before washing things (i refuse to sift through them, if he's that lazy it's on him).

I regularly claim ownership of the cash but the golf tees drive me around the bend when they're clanking round inside the drum.

Breaking something (glassware, crockery) after having washed and dried it.

Peas that escape the bag and hide under the fridge. Cat treat dust between the toes.

Yellow wax crayon in the tumble dryer.

I've just remembered that inserting rogue apostrophes into acronyms is also really annoying... T'sTAEMATATITW should, of course, be TTAEMATATITW.

Biro in the wash. Exploded and ruined everything in there - no amount of scrubbing or chemicals would shift it 😖

Catching your dressing gown sleeve on the door handle. Makes me INCANDESCENT with rage 😂

Pantry moths

Oh heavens, yes - or a pocket.

And it only ever happens when you're angry at the world in general, too.

DD's glasses. Twice.

Tiny bits of glass in the filter. Have never found the screws.

Fruit flies

When you put something down and it vanishes, you look EVERYWHERE for it and then it appears exactly where you put it down.

Bird poop on beautifully clean laundry. I love birds but I wish there was a way to train them to poop somewhere else! 😁

Doing the washing up and then finding a dirty cup in the front room

Extra rage points for carrying a cup of tea when you do this.

Vacuuming furiously and the plug comes just out of the socket...

When you are having a lovely icy alcoholic beverage, the wet coaster sticks to the bottom of the glass, and it gets deposited into your lap.

Ah, yes. I have a knack for doing this on the bannister rail, particularly when carrying tea or other things (so can't easily regain balance). Grr.

Fruit flies flying out when you open the bin. It's emptied regularly so don't know why theyre always there, bit really annoying

The battery running out half way through any job, but especially clipping the dog.

Red lip gloss in a fleece pocket - thanks DD2. Ruined an entire load of whites which included my favourite top.
Very close runner up is the dog always standing exactly where I need to walk.
