How to get over holiday blues?

Basically that.
Waking up this morning at our hotel in Cornwall and heading back up north after 4 lovely days and feeling blue.
Had such a lovely time and don't want to go home.
We are going away to Gran Canaria In 70 days (second week November ) but it honestly feels like a lifetime away.
Does anyone else feel the same ?
How to overcome it?

I think the only way is to have lovely things lined up for the future. You’ve got another holiday planned - but what about making plans for something more local that you would find exciting?

Reflect on the holiday, print off some photos or make a photo book. If you have children maybe do a scrapbook together and write down their favourite memories of the holiday.

It sounds like your day-to-day life isn't fulfilling you or making you happy.

Holidays shouldn't be brief stepping stones of joy in a mundane existence.

What do you like on holiday that you don't get at home? (Aside from day-drinking.) Start bringing those things into your life.

It's the change of scenery I enjoy
I'm normally fine once I get back home it's just the actual leaving bit that gets me a bit blue
