We normally have it on 3. As its the middle lol.
Is 1 lowest as in temp like 1 degree .
Or 5 higher to keep it 'extra cold'

I can't explain but i never know what to have it on

1 is hottest and 5 is coldest

Ok. Thank you.

What do people tend to have theirs on.
We have 2, one in garage and that one no matter what settings its always soo cold. The drinks are almost too cold to drink.
Its only about 5 years old.

Thermometers are cheap on Amazon. Them just make sure it's under 5 degrees.

Is it a model that is suitable for using in an unheated space as not all are designed for low temperatures?

Maybe get a fridge thermometer so you can check how cold they are

NoMoreChubRub · 06/09/2022 23:45

I didn't know there was a difference in where they can be kept.
Ill have to have a look its a standard kitchen one. But tbh our kitchen last winter was 5 degrees indoors. No radiator and single glazed glass door. So pretty cold too.

We change ours depending on how much is in it, so if it's nearly empty we'll have it on 3 but if I've just done a huge shop I'll put it up to 8

If memory serves me right an average kitchen fridge for domestic use is to be kept at 4
Uncooked meats always bottom shelf
Cooked meats & dairy's middle shelf.
Never store tins or aluminium in a refrigerator either; always tupperwear or clingfilm.
