I have an Etsy shop and last year sold about 350 advent calendars which I fill myself (not wax melts before anyone asks). I'm over doubling, maybe tripling, the number this year, and use the Royal Mail to send them.
I'd like to support my local post office where possible, and I know I could pay online and get parcels picked up from my house, or pay for postage online and take them to the local post office, or pay for some postage over the counter (this would be a few pennies more expensive though & Etsy push for payment through their site).
I wanted to ask if the local post office get paid for scanning in pre-paid parcels. Or am I just giving them work for nothing in return?
