Endometrial cancer, shattered

Hello ladies
I'm absolutely shattered. My dear aunt who happens to be my godmother who raised me called me earlier telling me she's got cancer apparently very advanced. Her GP is a bum hole... Continuously told her she had urine infections. I told her that is odd... That is not normal. She's 73. Has not had a period in well over two decades she's told me she bled for days at a time. But gp kept saying it's just a UTI! bloody hell. I'm livid. I told her to visit a gynaecologist beg for a referral if need be. I even offered to fly her out to France where I live for a private consult.
She had symptoms for 2 years and 9 months, incontinence, bleeding, period like pain. And UTI symptoms. And some constipation as well. She's raised me and always told me she loved me she's my mum. I think i an in denial. From what the gynaecologist told her he is 99% sure this is cancer but hasn't done a biopsy yet. He's very experienced. I can't even sleep! Has anyone gone through this... No word on staging yet the gynae told her do not assume this is benign I'm sure it's malignant... It's too large. He used the word advanced. I know nothing is for sure until they do the biopsy. I'm crushed.

Ah love what shocking news I’m really sorry .

Oh, what a horrible shock. And how awful that her bleeding - post menopause, and for so long - wasn't taken more seriously.
A neighbour of mine had this cancer last year. A few months of treatment (radiation) later, she is cancer free. Please keep hope!
