Where in London can I go out tonight without breaking the bank?

Fifty bloody five tomorrow. Just the three of us. Nowhere south as too far. Locally is very dull its a Monday after all. Just good food and abit lively. Thanks.

If you actually fancy doing something then head to the TKTS website - there are plenty of shows with tickets tonight but I suppose it depends on what "breaking the bank" means but several have tickets at under £40 a head.

Vauxhall Comedy Club has stand up tonight and that is cheap but a bit variable. There is an acoustic showcase at the Archway Tavern in Islington on Mondays.

If you just fancy a meal, Skylon on the South Bank is fairly buzzy and great views of the Thames and they have an offer on at the moment for a set menu with a glass of wine for £35 on Monday nights

Cant commit to a show due to dc bed times for one of the group. We are on the northern line. I thought Camden but never really eat there.

That Skyion deal sounds great - would be tempted myself if I could go out tonight… I know it’s on the Southbank but direct connection to Blackfriars might make it viable? There’s always a bit of a buzz around on the Southbank. Skylon itself feels quite nice for a special occasion, especially if you can nab one of the window seats overlooking the Thames.

Not sure if they’re doing it this year but there used to be a rooftop bar on the National Theatre which might be a good combination?
