Hi
Any help on how to make something at home for our 10 year old. He likes soldiers and I've told DH perhaps a box and string could be like a gas mask carry box ... any gems well appreciated 🤩

A kid in DS's class dressed as a carrier pigeon. Genius.

Easily done cheaply.I've done ww2 costumes for stage.
Ordinary grey shorts down to the knee with shirt and jumper.you can add braces if you want. Knee length socks.
Gas masks I bought a set of ordinary brown boxes off eBay found the stickers on line to go on it and tie it with string.I

if you want to make them evacuees (I did) then either a long cost of tweedy blazer with luggage label and small suitcase.

Coat or tweedy blazer... Autocorrect is wrong again!
