Food processor recommendations

I’m looking at getting a food processor to help prepare more home made and nutritious meals for us. I did look at a thermomix but they are so expensive. What I do like about the thermomix was the finely chopped/diced food - cookidoo has a lovely chopped broccoli, apple and pepper salad that is hard to replicate by hand. I’ve looked at a ninja but reviews say the lid isn’t strong breaks easily, and a Kenwood with built in scales but reviews say the slicing/dicing blades are too small and you are left with some large chunks of uncut food.

can anyone recommend a decent food processor please? Many thanks

I've always used magimix 5200. I'm on my second now! They have a 30 year guarantee.

Fab, I’ll go and check it out! Thank you.

My Sage is a serious workhorse. I love it!

Which sage one do you have?

Magimix. I’ve had one for a long time . They are brilliant.

My DM passed on a Magimix to me, it's old but still working amazingly

Magimix - more than 20 years old, still going.

I can't make a recommendation for what to buy but I can advise against buying a KitchenAid. I bought one to replace my 30 year old Braun multipractic and I'm so disappointed with it. It's heavy, hard to clean and it doesn't process things at the edges of the bottom of the bowl.

My mum always had a Magimix at home. I now have her 40 year old one as she's upgraded and it's still going strong!

When it sadly dies, I will be getting another one. They do still come with an extremely lengthy guarantee. Would definitely recommend!

I'm embarrassed to say, I don't know. It's at least 5 or 6 years old. It blows the Magimixes I've had out of the water (sorry).

It’s good to know what to avoid too!

Another vote for Magimix from me!
