Phone won't unlock with the right pin - any ideas?

It's a Google Pixel 3. I know it's the correct pin. I'm 100% sure, been using the same one since I got the phone.

Won't unlock off my fingerprint due to "security".

No one else has had access to my phone and it was working fine last night.

I'm absolutely baffled and a bit freaked out as I need my phone! Posting this from my tablet.

This happened to me. I went for a nap, woke up and it refused to accept my pin. In the end I had to do a full restore to get access

Oh fuck that doesn't sound good.

I have no idea how to reboot it. I've restarted it which hasn't helped and can't get access past the lock screen!
