Did anyone ever find out? Or is there a non stick without the killer ingredients we can buy?

killer ingredients you say?

Teflon coated pans cause no harm to your health. Otherwise why would they be manufactured. After five years they need to be replaced however.
If you want an alternative look at copper based, carbon stainless steel or cast iron

I have similar concerns about Teflon. We have Le Creuset - two we bought new and others off Marketplace. They're not for everyone, as they're very heavy and horrendously expensive. If I was replacing them with something lighter, I'd do for stainless steel - I like the look of those without handles - you get a clip on handle that fits them all. We have a cast iron skillet.

Yes a study came out recently that scruffed pans carry dangerous chemicals

Don't damage the non stick coating and it's not an issue.

Don't use washing up liquid or abrasive sponges/wire wool (looking at you ex) or metal utensils in the pans.

I put some water in the base of the pan, let it simmer to soften any burned on bits and wipe it clean with a cloth or kitchen roll.

Just use non-metal utensils with rounded edges - I use good quality wood one - to avoid scratching the teflon coating.

Greenpan are amazing. Ceramic and actually non stick. For what it’s worth @RayneDance i agree with you and think it is something worth being concerned about. Others should educate themselves before dismissing it!

I just use stainless steel pans. I seem to make the non stick coating peel very easily so using stainless steel means I they actually last!

We can't have Teflon coated pans as the fumes when heated will kill our bird. We google PTFE and PFOA free ones and buy from the internet. There's quite a wide range available.
