If you had 8 (non-consecutive) free days - no DC, DP or work

What would you do? My DD is starting nursery on Monday, 2 days a week. But I'm not going back to work until October. Unless I take leave days while she's at nursery these will be the last free days without DC, DP or work that I'll have for a LONG while... Bonus if the ideas are cheap, trying to save money!

I would run every day, sort out the garden, visit my DMum, see if there are any nearby exhibitions I fancy, and meet up with friends

If you have a decent, cheap pool near you, I'd go for a swim and sauna/steam. Our local council-run pools aren't glamorous but they are clean and the sauna and steam rooms work fine, so that's £6.50 well spent for me, for a couple of hours relaxing and having a swim without kids!

Yep this. Look up all the free stuff and act like a tourist. Also meet up with friends.
