Air-fryer - worth getting one?

I'm considering one, as my ancient oven takes about 30 mins to heat up, then burns anything on the bottom shelf Hmm

I'm a single parent working f/t out the house - so was hoping to use it for quick meals. I also have a slow cooker. We don't eat many chips (maybe once a fortnight).

Have others found them helpful?

There are lots of posts on this, so trying searching for those.

My sis says they’re all over her frugal living groups, supposed to be one of the cheapest ways to cook and she swears by hers.

We love ours. Quick and easy. We have this one...

@AlwaysGinPlease is the capacity big enough on the one you have? Say I wanted to do a whole chicken in this would it work?

AlwaysGinPlease · 03/09/2022 15:04

@PickledWilly we haven't as we are all vegan but I googled it and it says you can. It's a large basket.

Yes, get one. We do fish fingers, chicken strips, chips, wedges etc. I’ve warmed a pie in it as well.

RayneDance · 03/09/2022 17:05

Yes. It's fantastic

orangeisthenewpuce · 03/09/2022 17:22

Get a big one, the 2 drawer one. Well worth the money.

RandomMess · 03/09/2022 18:24

They are brill pre-heat in 5 mins and cook things in 3/4 time as a fan oven.
