I am recuperating at the moment and worn out but bored at the same time if that makes sense. I can't use my dominant arm or drive anywhere. I am getting tired really quickly. But am bored of TV and phone and need to do more.

I'm going to read a book and ask friends round for a cuppa.

Any ideas what else I might do?

Jigsaw?

FaazoHuyzeoSix · 02/09/2022 20:19

Learn a long poem by heart, eg The Lady of Shallot

Jigsaw?

Good idea! Either hand fine. Will order a new one.
Thank you

Oooh, not something I have ever considered and doesn't appeal, sorry but thanks.

Paint the skirting boards, clean obscure things, organise photos, create a marvellous calendar of everything that needs to happen each day, write letters to friends, research your family tree (yawn), plan holidays.

NuffSaidSam · 02/09/2022 20:22

I was going to say jigsaw too.

Crosswords, cryptic crosswords, wordsearch or sudoku or similar.

Audio books maybe if reading is tiring. Or get into a new podcast.

Start a youtube channel on the topic of teaching yourself to do things without using your dominant hand. Make hundreds of videos of everything you do.

Buffet the Vampire Slayer marathon

Chewbecca · 02/09/2022 20:29

Some of these are making me tired thinking about them and veer on frustrating with non dominant hand. I definitely would do a rubbish job of the skirting boards!

I do like a sudoku or similar, might see if I can get my hands on some.

Thank you.

There is a thread running about gaming not being for just teenagers

DS would love that. Mostly used dominant arm mind.
