Legoland - One day or two?

Our schools are going to be closed for a few days next week due to strikes, so I was thinking of driving down to legoland and staying the night in a hotel.

My kids are 8 and 10 and I haven't been to legoland since I was 11 so really no idea what it is like now.

How many days to enjoy the park? Is one enough or should we go for two days?

We did 2 days this year, it can be done in one day depending on what you want to see/go on.

For us we thought one and a half days was perfect as we ended up doing a few things twice

If you can do two days then do that; the queues can be long especially for the Mythica rides and it’s easy not to get on everything or do multiple rides if it’s busy.

Thank you. I wasn't sure how busy it would be mid-week with schools back. Kinda hoping we wont spend hours queueing.

Two, one day would be exhausting

My dc sort of gave up about 3 pm on day 1, but still had lots to do.

We stayed in a premier inn in Slough. 2 nights B&B far cheaper than LL hotel. Obvs not the same experience but it meant we could be there when the gates opened and stay all day

We were planning to stay in the premier inn, but the bloody strikes have just been cancelled. I just found out about 30 seconds ago so that puts this plan to bed. Nevermind!
