This has just happened to me and I’m genuinely astonished by it. Five years ago he left me 6mon pregnant. Made awful allegations against me. Wouldn’t speak to me about dc and went to court for access even though I had said I was happy to talk. He was utterly vile to me.
As the years have gone on I kept my distance when he did pick up etc snd he recently came to DC’s birthday. At the end he said he was sorry and that ‘maybe he’d make a mistake.’
id waited for this moment a long time but I actually felt sick when he said it. I still think of him as the piece of shit that he was then.
