Tick on my dog or?

Sorry for not posting in the dog house but I kinda want a quick answer..

My DD found a " bump" on my dogs "elbow" and it " could" be a tick. However when I try with the tick tool I can't get under it.

He is due to go to his doggy daycare tomorrow and they are pretty good at stuff like that Will he be ok until then? I wouldn't want to be the cause of Lyme disease but I also know that getting it out wrong can be worse so I don't want to dig.

I honestly didn't worry this much about my children but something about him not being able to communicate makes me extra careful :)

will attach a photo.

Does he have a monthly flea treatment? Some of them cover ticks as well, which means it'll just die and fall off. Takes a few days though.

Doesn’t look like a tick. Looks like a scab.

Get really close. If it’s a tick you will see legs

Doesn't look like a tick to me, just a small callous. My dogs get them every summer from lazing around on hard floors because they're cooler than the sofa.

Interesting @SharpLily Conkers has spent like 10 mins a day on the floor :) that's a lot for him... (((he REALLY likes the sofa)))) However, I will email his doggydaycare and ask them to look. Feeling a bit safer :) He is such lovely dog :) wouldn't want to be without him.
