DD (ASD) has FREAKED at the feel of the hard cardboardy collars and tie, so now i am panic buying replacements

are there any which are acceptable for a strict uniform policy but aren't quite so restrictive and stiff?

I remember seeing some labelled as easy on and comfy collar on the Asda George website, would they be any good? Might be worth a look.

School should be making reasonable adjustments, have you spike to the Senco?

School should accept Reasonable adjustments under disability legislation. Speak to SENCO and escalate quickly to governors and the local education team if necessary.

In the meantime I thought M&S had softer versions in previous years but I haven't looked yet myself!
