Sleeping options for almost 2 year old abroad?

Going on holiday later this year, DD will be 22 months by then. Last time we went away she slept horrendously on the awful travel cot provided. I’ve been looking at other options I could take with us, any tried and tested recommendations? Despite her age she is very petite if that makes any difference.

We used to take a little travel cot that looked like a tent. Packed up small and DC always slept well. Little Life Arc 2.

Bed share

Juicylychee · 02/09/2022 07:54

@CheshireSplat ill look into that. Definitely not up for bed sharing!

Just a single bed in a safe location. Lots of toddlers are out of the cot by 22 months. When in doubt, just move the mattress to the floor.

We went on holiday this summer and had a triple room and just out the mattress on the floor against a wall and another bed so DS couldn’t roll out. If we couldn’t have done that I would have bought a pool noodle to put under the sheet to help keep him from rolling out the side and cushions on the floor

Thank you. Just thought mattress on floor would mean wandering about all nigjt

We had a low travel cot - a baby bjorn at that age? Or just the sofa bed with extra pillows
