Just spent three hours filling out a job application

What is wrong with a CV? Is it just to filter out time wasters who bung a cv at everything as evidence for UC.

Really hoping I get it though. I’ve been doing filler jobs since Dc and this would be first step onto more professional job. Tell me your stories of tricky job applications that ended well. If you’ve got time to kill.

I wonder how much of the information is asked so that an employer cannot be accused of an unfair recruitment process?
