Duolingo: What's happened?

The modules are gone and everything is now merged together!??! Why?

Mine (on my phone) is normal

Mine hasn't changed but I think this is the new format and we'll all get it eventually.
Are the stories integrated into a single learning line now?

I've disabled updates because I hate this look. I want to resist it for as long as I can. I don't need their research saying it's a better way to learn a language. I like my way.

Mine has been updating, there was one this morning, but still looks the same. I'm confused now...

So many adverts now. I hadn't been on it for ages but found it very slow when I tried a few weeks ago

Ugh! I HATE IT!

Just completely fucking hate it, and I've been racing through Duolingo. I haven't touched it at all since the update apart from to just do one tiny thing every day to keep my streak going. I just can't make head or tails of the new update - I can't find anything! I don't know where I'm supposed to be or what I'm supposed to be doing!

Ah mine hasn’t updated yet but my dd’s has. She said the only good thing was she could now do the original Match madness again, the one that wasn’t impossible to do, as well as the other one that makes you do it in stages that are really difficult at the end.
Don’t know why they keep messing with it 😡
