IKEA hemnes day bed - question about the Agotnes mattress

Hi,
Has anyone got the above? I’m wanting to work out if I can squeeze the mattresses into a different day bed frame (for occasional use) from Loaf that I already have but they are 10cm too long. How squashable if the Agotnes firm foam, please?
This is what we have:

Looks lovely but you wouldn’t believe how uncomfortable the concave shaped button mattresses are!
Any info appreciated :)

I know they don’t look concave in the pic but ours is very dome like meaning you constantly roll off it 😬

Oof that bedframe is expensive!

They aren't very compressible. You will end up with another uncomfortable mattress. Amazon does narrow single mattresses.

Or - if you haven't had the Loaf one long, can you return it and get this instead?

Thank you @ChiefWiggumsBoy, good to know that.

I bought it nearly new on Gumtree. Wouldn’t have paid that! Unfortunately it’s style over comfort. The one you linked to isn’t as nice as the one I have or the Hemnes imo but thanks for the idea.

Might just resell the list one and buy the Hemnes. The only thing that puts me off is that it’s such an unoriginal thing to buy! (But is only for the tiny spare room- we want the option of a double but day to day there only room for a single)

I've actually just been to Ikea today and had a look. I think you could easily buy the mattress, take the cover off and just slice 10cm off the end. That would probably be the easiest thing as it's solid foam. Obviously the cover will be a bit long but you can tuck it in or if you're really bothered sew it up.
