Why does wine only come in 75cl bottles? Lighthearted

Occasionally I like a bottle of wine to myself if dh is working away,I watch trash on TV and enjoy the alone time.

One bottle never seems enough iykwim I could always do with another glass
Of course I could buy 2 bottles but I don't want to I just want a litre bottle of wine is that too much to ask!

Before anyone starts

1.no I don't have a drink problem

2.its occasionally.

3.this is a lighthearted post aimed at wine drinkers.

I agree a bottle and an extra glass would be perfect !

I see this is an oldish thread, we have no shame here. Can get normal bottles and then boxes of 1l, 3l and 5l.

Some wine connoisseurs will have none of it saying wine should always be in glass. So us non connoisseurs refer to our boxes as the 'Cardbordeaux' 😀

Or more commonly known as Dooswyn.

I know someone will be along shortly who already knows this 😂

We get wine in a can now too.....
