Postal strikes question

Daft question: are all Royal Mail workers striking or just the ones in the union? Are they like teachers where they're almost all in unions?

They are almost all in the union, and the vast majority are on strike including those not in the union.

All out, my postie said he had to strike because everyone else was out. He doesn't get paid and says he'll be lucky to get what he's lost back in any pay rise.
A lot of what he does is overtime as he usually does 2 rounds these days.
