Edinburgh mumsnetters- are bins/rubbish starting to clear?

We are looking to do a day out in Edinburgh this weekend. Wondered if I should postpone until the rubbish is cleared

Given that the strikes start again on the 6th, I reckon this weekend is your best bet. By then most areas will have been dealt with I would think.

The rubbish collections are re-starting today but haven’t reached us yet in North Edinburgh. It’ll be some job.
