Hi looking for recommendations for best travel pass for a 4 day stay in the city arriving at cdg. Planning evening bateau trip at least and appreciate any top tips.

When I went, I found that you had to do an awful lot of journeys for the travel passes to be worthwhile. I don't know if it works out differently if you do lots of paid attractions, if there's some sort of discount available.

I was there between Friday and Sunday and had a return train between CDG and central Paris, a few tram/Metro trips and a return to Versailles and I think I spent just under 30 euro on all those.

A 3 day pass for the outer zone, so including CDG and Versailles is 53.75.

Thank you - this is exactly what I was thinking - I wasn't sure how I would
do enough to justify the passes!

We got the Navigo Découverte pass, which cost €5 each at the station at CDG (brought passport photos with us to put on the passes), plus the weekly ticket to go with it, which was I think €22 each. It covered all public transport in the 5 zones, including the RER to the airport, Versailles and Disney. We only used it for the RER to the airport and back, and zone 1 and 2 metro and bus, but it saved us a lot of money over 5 days.

@Twotothreeagain, thanks for sharing - I’ve just booked and didn’t think I’d do enough to justify the 53 euro passes but the Navigo pass will be perfect . I thought I was going to have to resort to carnets of metro tickets!
