I need to urgently or order a full birth certificate and it's much quicker if I have this but am failing to find it on line?

TIA

Have you tried FreeBMD?
Depends on the year of birth of they'll have it but they have the older ones

I had to order a birth certificate recently and also didn't have the GRO. It's still easy to do if you have the relevant info contained on the birth certificate.

You need to register an account here then fill in the relevant info. I used the priority service and it came really quickly

www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/login.asp

Yeah didn't really want to pay £35, if I could provide the GRO and get it sent out in a week.

Wave want me to download something and I can't on my work computer Sad

You don't have to do the priority service. From what I understand it will be £14 and sent within 15 working days - but again don't need GRO if you have the info that was contained on birth certificate

Sorry yes I see now - if you have the number it's £11 and sent within a week.

If you want to DM me, I can see if I can find the info for you, OP. I do a fair bit of family history searching, so have a few places to glean info from.

Thank you I will fire up the laptop to send a DM, it's from the 1970's so should that should be available I think?
