I struggled with that - none of my early greens were at all relevant even in the 800s. It was only when I took a hint in desperation and got 919 that I got it.

My first green was 998 and I still needed a hint when I hadn't progressed from there over 200 guesses later. I think they're letting the work experience choose the words!

(Better than yesterday when I gave up - I got to 998 and eventually took a hint. I am sure there are a lot more similar words especially as the word had more than one meaning).

My first guess was 825/1000! Took me another 26 guesses of getting absolutely nowhere, so I took a hint which was - for once - quite useful, as I got the secret word on my next guess!

Spent too long in synonyms today, had loads of 900s before eventually getting there.
