So instead of just looking online I went to curry's soon could see what size they actually were. I was surprised that the drawers/ baskets are actually smaller than I imagined.

So my question is... if cooking oven roasted veg or chips, do you only cook one layer? Like you would on a baking tray in the ordinary oven?

Surely not.

I do potato wedges in there and don't do one layer, I load up the tray however I make sure to shake / flip them around every so often while cooking, worked a treat

No - you can fill the basket with chips or veg. You do need to shake it every few minutes while it’s cooking to help it cook evenly.

Ah. Thank you. Makes more sense now

Yes it's not the same as an oven, you can actually just load it all on top of each other, and because it cooks so quickly you just shake it out every now and then and it all cooks evenly.
