serpentine lido - is there a shallow end?

Do any MNers swim at the Serpentine and can you tell me if there is an end where you can wade in or is it all immediately out of your depth like Hampstead Ladies pool?

Yeah the times I’ve been - admittedly a good nine years ago - you could wade in down a slope.

Thank you. I tried to look it up online but all the info just said how deep it was, ranging from 3m to 5.3m so I wondered if the shallowest bit was 3m.

Yes, I'm a member of the club so swim every week of the year. There are 3 ramps spaced along the water's edge that lead into the lake. Each ramp is covered by a non slip surface and has a handrail allowing for safe entry and exit of the water.
