Time to arrive at airport

Going on holiday tomorrow (L&B Airport ) how early before the flight would you get there? 🙂

We flew with Jet2 and they suggest 3 hours. Two would have been enough, but we whizzed through check in and security.

I recently flew to Spain from Gatwick. We allowed two and a half hours and had time for dinner. I think if you're flying long haul you are advised to arrived earlier.

We flew at half term and allowed 2 hours and barely made the plane. Flew last week and allowed 3 hours and had nearly 2 hours to spare. I would say allow 3 to be on the safe side.

I recently flew to Germany with Ryanair and they texted a couple of days before to say the airport was short staffed and could I arrive 3 hours before the flight time (Stansted).
