Slow cooker or microwave?

I have both, having been gifted a slow cooker recently.
Does anyone know which would be the cheaper to run? And which would provide 'nicer' meals?

Slow cooker would produce nicer meals. And it’s quieter! Plus you can just let it get on and do it’s thing - with a microwave you have to be there to intermittently stir it or add water etc…

Slow cooker.
I use my microwave to re heat things, or a tin of soup etc. my slow cooker is what I use to actually “cook”.

Found a slow cooker cook book too, so should be able to make some decent stews, etc.
I generally only use the microwave for cooking veg or making porridge, and to defrost stuff.

Thanks for the tips.😀

I roast chicken in slow cooker got 7h on low- got a bit of a phobia about food poisoning. It is absolutely delicious- so moist. The only problem.the skin doesn't go crispy or particularly brown. Gorgeous though

Veggie household here, so hopefully little chance of food poisoning. :)
