AIBU to not want to eat certain out of date foods, such as processed meats, pate:pies etc?? I don't worry about a day or two but after a week its a no no.

Most things I will sniff test like milk yoghurt etc, and fruit and veg stay in the tray until the shrivel.......but meat??

My son and I are being called pathetic....... The ham was 11 days out of date.

Never call anyone pathetic but why the difference between pies etc and anything else. If you trust your senses go with it.

Thank you, I just wondered if we were being pathetic. If the insult is justified.
I guess it just chips away at you.
