Ikea Brimnes or Hemnes day bed

Hello has anyone got the ikea Brimnes or Hemnes day bed for their DC that they use as an every day bed? I’m thinking they are a good space saving solution for tween DD for sleepovers etc. but I’m concerned about her sleeping in 2 mattresses on top of each other? Surely they need more ventilation than that?
can anyone offer any experience please? Thank you

We got one recently seems ok at the moment only thing the mattresses tend to slide slightly and feel too thin so in time I'm going to replace one with a thicker one. I think the bed slats keep circulation going

We do this and seems to be fine tbh. I haven't come across any issues.

I sleep on the hemnes day bed as a single bed and have done for a couple years. I rotate the mattresses whenever I change the bedding and I’ve never had any problem with them. Very comfy 🙂

My daughter has the hennes she loves it. We have a mattress with a couple of pillows at the end. Lots of storage too.
