Not the biggest problem we're facing right now, but just something I noticed yesterday. I haven't been to a shopping centre in a long time but needed something from a particular store so went to one. The day was mid 20's here, sunny and warm but not boiling. I noticed the shopping centre did have some air con but heavily reduced from the norm. Even DD got too warm and she loves heat. Anyway, after a while all I could smell everywhere was stale sweat (it wasn't me or DD, I checked!). And I realised it must be because of the reduced air con. I get the reasons why. But it was very unpleasant. I just noticed it as another consequence of rising energy prices. This is semi lighthearted but honestly it would put me off going to indoor places on a hot day!
