where to buy swimwear to properly cover a fat middle?

I could do with some help with finding swimwear.

For a long time I was a size 12-14 (5 foot 7) and perfectly happy with a standard tankini. Roll forward 5 or so years and I'm a 16-18, 2 stone heavier, and most of the weight has gone on round my middle (perimenopause and PCOS) which frankly isn't a good look at all.

What is a good style of swimwear? I'm thinking about shorts and some kind of non-clingy top? Where can you buy that sort of thing? Any suggestions of brands?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I got a lovely swim dress from asda!!! Wasn't a break the bank but either and it is a tummy control underneath! Also very have a good range. The shape wear swimwear has ruffles on the belly etc so hides ALOT and are very flattering ! I only get from asda and very for shapewear
I hate my middle since having kids it's just a jelly stretch mark mess so I'm super conscious! Xxx

Landsend do really nice swimwear. Order the size up from what you need though. Tankini and board shorts

Try Pour Moi; but pricey but very flattering
